We’re wishing you and your loved ones a warm and happy holiday season!
This week, as Bhutan enters its second nationwide lockdown following new cases of COVID-19 across the country, we’re reminded of how the year began—the sudden changes and adjustments we all took on for each other and the new ways we’ve come together from a distance. As the year comes to a close, we remain grateful for the extraordinary leadership of His Majesty and the Royal Government of Bhutan for their quick and compassionate responses to these difficult times.

We also remain grateful for you.

Throughout this year, as needs and on-the-ground capacity adjusted to border closures, school shutdowns, and social distancing, your continued support has been invaluable to the lives of people living and working across Bhutan. From donating 200,000+ face masks to vulnerable communities to feeding 188+ homeless animals facing hunger in the wake of lockdowns, your help has made a wide impact, and we’re grateful to each and every one of you for keeping that momentum going.

We hope you take a moment to enjoy the video above detailing the work you’ve made happen this year! You can also read all about these stories and more in Remote Not Removed: Bhutan Foundation Annual Report 2020.

Thank you and Happy Holidays from all of us at the Bhutan Foundation!
