Royal Education Council launches Education in Emergency curriculum

The Education in Emergency (EiE) curriculum guidelines have been specifically designed for schools and teachers to keep students engaged meaningfully and continue their education. The EiE curriculum is one that has carefully identified the most critical learning areas, themes and topics to be taught through various appropriate remote means given the limited time and space during an emergency, particilarly COVID-19 situation. It is recommended that schools explore various ways to deliver the recommended syllabi. We are working with MOE, BBS and volunteer teachers to record lessons based on this prioritised curriculum. We have agreed on a plan of BBS broadcasting the recorded video lessons from March 25, 2020.
