We’re excited to announce the selected proposals for the Small Grants Program 2025–2026! From a remarkable pool of 61 community-centered proposals from across Bhutan, 8 projects have been selected for support.
The grantees include:
- Beethang Aumtshu Throedhen Tshogpa- Empowering Women through Sustainable Production of Local Jangbali and Puta Noodles.
- Samjong Cooperatives– Enhancing Value Addition, Packaging, and Certification for SAMJONG Products to Strengthen Market Competitiveness and Increase Farmers’ Income.
- Tshelung-Na Dairy Cooperative TDC– Enhancing Dairy Value Chain for Economic Empowerment of Women Dairy Farmers in Tshelungna.
- Druk Arachis– Establishment of a Sustainable Peanut Processing Facility Plant to boost Local Agricultural Economy in Trashiyangtse.
- Disabled People’s Organization of Bhutan-DPO– Empowering Persons with Disabilities through Inclusive Handicraft Enterprise.
- Bhutan Mountain Dentist– Inclusive Smiles: Oral Health Advocacy and Screening for Students with Disabilities at Draktsho Institute, Trashigang.
- Bumthang Dzongkhag Administration– Empowering Women for Sustainable Beekeeping through Smart Technology to Enhanced Livelihood and Environmental Conservation, Chhumig.
- Bhutan Cancer Society– Towards a Healthier and Sustainable Workforce through Local Action for Occupational Cancer Risk Prevention.
